How do I make a formal complaint?

Use the formal complaint route in Housebets' Dispute Resolution policy when you need an unresolved issue reviewed as a complaint. An ordinary chat enquiry and a formal complaint have different handling standards.

Prepare the complaint

Describe the issue, when it happened, what has already been tried and the outcome you are asking for. Include the relevant account, payment, bet or support-conversation references and supporting evidence. Follow the submission instructions and form linked from the policy.

The policy says formal complaints should be submitted within six months. Some issues also have a shorter specific deadline: sportsbook settlement disputes must be raised within 14 days of settlement, and disputed live-dealer rounds within seven days. Report those issues promptly rather than waiting for the general complaint deadline.

Published handling standards

The policy specifies standard acknowledgement within seven calendar days and a final response within four weeks. Responsible-gambling complaints have a two-day acknowledgement standard. These are formal complaint standards, not promises of an ordinary chat response within the same period.

Keep your submission and any reference supplied for follow-ups. If the final response does not resolve the issue, the policy explains the external dispute-resolution route, including Resolvo ADR. Use that current process rather than an unofficial contact or an invented staff name.
