What types of bets are there at Housebets?
At Housebets, you can place a variety of bet types depending on how many selections you want to include and how much risk you’re willing to take. Here’s a full breakdown of the available options:
What is a Single (Ordinary) Bet?
A Single Bet is the simplest type of wager, where you place a bet on one specific outcome. If your prediction is correct, your payout is calculated by multiplying your stake by the odds.
What is a Combo Bet?
A Combo Bet (also known as an Accumulator) involves combining several separate outcomes into one single bet. To win, all of your selected outcomes must be correct. If even one prediction is wrong, the entire Combo loses. The payout is your stake multiplied by the total combined odds.
What is a System Bet?
A System Bet is a set of multiple Combo Bets based on a larger number of selections. It allows you to win even if not all of your picks are correct, depending on the system format you choose (like 2/3, 3/4, etc.). Each combination within the system is treated as its own bet with the same stake, and the final payout depends on how many of those combinations are successful.
What is a Trixie?
A Trixie is a bet made up of four individual bets based on three different selections: three Doubles and one Treble. Since there are no Singles in a Trixie, you’ll need at least two correct selections to get any return.
What is a Patent?
A Patent is a more comprehensive version of a Trixie. It includes seven bets from three selections: three Singles, three Doubles, and one Treble. This means that even if only one of your picks wins, you will still receive a payout.
What is a Yankee?
A Yankee includes eleven bets formed from four different selections. It consists of six Doubles, four Trebles, and one Fourfold. There are no Single Bets in a Yankee, so you’ll need at least two correct predictions to win something back.
What is a Canadian (Super Yankee)?
A Canadian, also known as a Super Yankee, includes twenty-six bets from five selections. These bets are made up of ten Doubles, ten Trebles, five Fourfolds, and one Fivefold. The more selections that are correct, the higher your potential return.
What is a Heinz?
A Heinz is a large combination bet consisting of fifty-seven individual bets made from six selections. These include all possible Doubles, Trebles, Fourfolds, Fivefolds, and one Sixfold. A minimum of two correct selections is required to earn a payout.
What is a Super Heinz?
A Super Heinz is made up of 120 bets from seven selections. It includes every possible combination of Doubles through to Sevenfolds. As with a Heinz, at least two of your selections must win for you to receive any return.
What is a Goliath?
A Goliath is the largest type of combination bet offered, with a total of 247 bets from eight selections. It covers all possible Doubles, Trebles, Fourfolds, and so on up to one Eightfold. You’ll need at least two correct picks to receive any payout, and the more winners you have, the larger the return.
How are payouts rounded?
If the odds produce a payout with more than two decimal places, the final amount will be rounded to the second decimal place. For example, a payout of 14.678 would be rounded to 14.68.
What is the “Cash Out” feature?
The Cash Out feature allows you to settle your bet before the event has finished, based on a value offered by Housebets at the time. This gives you the chance to secure a profit or limit a loss depending on how the action unfolds. You can accept or decline the offer, and the Cash Out amount may change or be withdrawn at any time. It is available for both pre-match and live bets.
