Sign in, then open Settings → Security. Two-factor authentication adds an authenticator check to protected account actions.
Set up your authenticator
Find Two-factor authentication and select Add, or the setup control shown in your layout.
Complete the requested security check. An account with a Housebets password may be asked for it; do not enter a Google, X or Telegram password into a Housebets password field.
In your authenticator app, add an account and scan the setup QR code. If you are on the same device, use the manual setup information where offered.
Enter the current code from the new Housebets authenticator entry into the Housebets setup form.
Complete setup and save the backup codes privately. Check that Security now shows 2FA enabled.
The setup QR and manual key are secrets. Do not share them, your one-time codes or your backup codes with support or include them in a recording.
A code is not working
Use the correct Housebets entry and a fresh code. Check that your device date and time are set automatically. If the form requests a different security check, follow its exact wording. An expired code and a lost authenticator need different help.
Changing phones or managing backup codes
Check your authenticator’s transfer/recovery options before losing access to the old device. Security offers backup-code controls when 2FA is enabled; follow the required checks and store any replacement codes securely.
If you cannot authenticate, use lost-authenticator recovery. Regenerating backup codes is not a way to bypass a security check. For other login methods, see Google, X and Telegram sign-in.
