House Games Limbo: rules, returns and bet limits

Limbo beta targets, win chances, 99% nominal RTP and the difference between total payout, profit and maximum stake.

This guide covers the House Games version, currently in beta. Open House Games and check the game name and provider when comparing rules.

How a round works

Choose a stake and a target multiplier. The game produces a result multiplier. You win if the result is equal to or greater than your target; otherwise the stake is lost.

Your target can range from 1.01× to 1,000,000×, with up to two decimal places. The maximum target is a permitted setting, not a promise that every currency and stake combination can be placed.

Win chance and returns

The quoted win chance is approximately 99 ÷ target multiplier, expressed as a percentage. A higher target offers a larger payout if it wins and a smaller chance of winning.

A win pays stake × your selected target, even if the result is higher. For example, if your target is 2× and the round reaches 10×, your payout remains 2× your stake. A losing round returns $0.

The payout includes your original stake. A $20 total return from a $10 stake means $10 net profit. Payouts are rounded down to eight decimal places.

Theoretical RTP

The game has a nominal 99% theoretical RTP, corresponding to a 1% house edge. Finite outcome precision and rounding mean the exact mathematical return can vary slightly with the target.

RTP is a long-run mathematical measure, not a guaranteed session result. A 49.5% chance does not mean wins will alternate or that a previous loss makes the next round more likely to win.

Minimum bet, maximum bet and maximum win

Your limits depend on the selected wallet currency. Check the minimum stake, maximum stake and maximum win shown for the game. A dollar display is not a replacement for your wallet-currency limits.

The maximum win limit means net profit, excluding your returned stake. A higher multiplier can reduce your maximum allowed stake:

Maximum stake = the lower of the currency's maximum bet and maximum net profit ÷ (multiplier − 1), rounded down to the permitted currency precision.

Illustrative example: if the maximum bet is $5,000 and the maximum net profit is $100,000, the stake ceiling is $5,000 at 2×, but $1,010.10 at 100× for a currency allowing cents. These example amounts are not a promise of the limit for every currency.

A bet that exceeds the limit is rejected before it is accepted. If a high multiplier makes the permitted stake smaller than the minimum bet, that combination cannot be placed.

Checking a result

The game uses a server seed, a client seed and a nonce to generate a round. The server seed is committed to by a hash and revealed after rotation. Verification must use that round's recorded inputs and fairness version.

If a result or wallet credit looks wrong, contact support with the game name, round reference, stake, currency, selected settings and displayed result. Beta feedback can also be shared through live support.
