How do I verify my account? (Step-by-step guide)

Before you start

Have the following ready:

  • Your government-issued photo ID (passport, national ID card, or driver's licence)

  • A recent utility bill, bank statement, or official letter showing your name and address (dated within 3 months)

  • A phone or computer with a working camera

Step-by-step

  1. Log in to your Housebets account.

  2. Click your profile icon and go to Account Settings.

  3. Select the Verification tab and click Verify your identity.

  4. You'll be redirected to our secure verification partner. You can scan a QR code to complete the process on your phone, or receive a link via SMS.

  5. Follow the on-screen prompts: photograph your ID, then complete the liveness check by looking at the camera and following the instructions.

  6. Upload your proof of address when prompted.

  7. Submit. You'll receive a 'Temporarily Approved' status while we review your documents.

How long does it take?

In most cases, verification is completed within a few hours. In some cases, manual review may be required and can take up to 24 hours. We'll email you once a decision has been made.

Important: Do not submit documents via live chat or email — they won't be processed. All documents must go through the Verification tab in your account settings.
