Take a clear document photo or prepare an upload

Use a clear, complete image of the document requested by the verification flow. The reviewer needs to read the details and see the document edges; a large file is not useful if the text is blurred or covered.

Take a readable photo

  1. Place the original document flat on a plain surface.

  2. Use even lighting. Move the light or document if glare covers the photo or text.

  3. Hold the camera directly above it and keep your fingers outside the document edges.

  4. Make sure the whole document is in frame, then check the image before uploading.

For a two-sided document, capture both sides when requested. Use colour and do not alter, retouch or replace the information on the document.

Check the file before submitting

The existing upload guidance lists JPEG/JPG and PNG for images, with PDF for proof of address. Follow the formats and file-size limits shown in your actual verification flow. If a file is rejected before upload, check those limits rather than repeatedly sending the same file.

Zoom in to inspect names, dates and address text. If they become unreadable, retake the photo instead of enlarging a poor image. A screenshot of a document preview may omit pages or reduce quality.

Need another attempt?

Use the rejection reason to decide what to fix: missing edge, glare, unreadable text, unsupported file or missing side. Submit the corrected version through verification.

If the reason is unclear, contact support with the error wording and device you are using. Do not attach the ID image in chat; the secure upload flow is the place for verification documents.
