When Housebets asks you to verify, submit the document types requested in the secure verification flow. A clear, valid document in your own name is the best starting point; uploading a different type can delay the review.
Identity documents
The current help guidance lists these government-issued photo IDs:
Passport
National identity card, including both sides when requested
Driving licence, including both sides when requested
The document must be valid and readable. Check that the name and other details match your account. If your legal name has changed or an account detail is wrong, ask support how to correct it rather than editing the document image.
Proof of address
When requested, the guidance lists utility bills, bank or credit-card statements, official government letters, and rental or mortgage agreements. The document must show your own name and current residential address. The AML policy specifies proof of address within 90 days when requested; follow the requirement in your secure request. A statement in a relative's name will not demonstrate your own address.
Before uploading
Choose the correct document type in the verification flow.
Check that it is complete and, for ID, not expired.
Photograph the original document clearly, or use the supported file format for an address document.
Review every page or side requested before submitting.
Upload through your account’s verification flow, not chat or email. If you do not have one of the listed documents, contact support before submitting a substitute. Tell the team which document type you can provide without attaching sensitive documents to the conversation.
