Change your username

Your username can be edited in your Housebets account settings. Update the existing account rather than opening a new one for a different name.

Your username can be edited in your Housebets account settings. Update the existing account rather than opening a new one for a different name.

Update it

  1. Sign in and open the profile menu.

  2. Go to Settings and find the username field in your account details.

  3. Select Edit, enter the new name and review it carefully.

  4. Select Save and check the success message or updated account details.

If the name is rejected, follow the validation message displayed in the form. This guide does not override requirements shown by the account settings.

Username, email and sign-in method are different

A username change is not the same action as changing your password, account email or linked connection. Use the relevant settings section for each task. If your actual goal is to update a legal name used for verification, ask support for the correct process instead of treating the public username field as identity verification.

If the old name still appears

Reopen account settings and check whether the new value was saved there. Note whether the difference appears everywhere or only on one page, such as community chat. That distinction helps the team investigate a display issue without repeatedly changing your account.

Contact Housebets support with your current username, the intended change and any error wording. Include a cropped screenshot if it helps, hiding email, player ID and unrelated account information. Never send a password or authentication code. If you cannot access the account, explain the sign-in problem first; a username edit will not resolve a lost login method.
