Sports betting limits: how to request a larger bet

If you would like to place a larger sports bet, ask us. We always try to accommodate larger bets where possible. Some limits are set by our sportsbook providers, so Housebets cannot always increase or override them.

Why are there sports limits?

The maximum stake can depend on the event, market, available odds and provider controls. Housebets also takes a cautious approach to very high limits on new accounts as part of managing risk on a crypto sportsbook.

A limit on one selection does not necessarily apply to every market. Check the maximum shown on your current betslip rather than relying on a previous bet or another player's limit.

Request a higher limit

Contact Housebets support, or your assigned VIP contact, with:

  • The event, start time and full market or selection.

  • Your intended stake and currency.

  • The odds and maximum stake currently shown.

  • Any limit or rejection message you received.

Ask for a sports limit review. Our team will check whether your request can be accommodated with the relevant sports team or provider. It helps to ask ahead of the event; acceptance, higher limits and the same odds cannot be guaranteed.

Boosted bets and special offers

A boosted price or promotion may have its own maximum stake and qualifying terms. Those limits can differ from the ordinary market. Read the specific offer before submitting your bet.

If a bet was rejected or gave no confirmation

Check My bets before trying again. A submitted request is only an accepted bet once acceptance is confirmed. If you need help, include the time and any Ticket ID with your enquiry.

Please use the review route rather than another account or someone else's account to work around a limit. Sports stake limits are separate from withdrawal limits and payment requirements.
