How Duel Mode Works

Understand the 50% total rakeback split, half-speed XP, paused rewards and what happens when you switch modes.

Duel Mode is an optional rewards setting that offers 50% total rakeback, split between instant rakeback and a reward held until your next level. While it is active, some other rewards pause and XP earns at half speed.

How rakeback is calculated

Rakeback is based on eligible wagering and the game’s theoretical house edge:

Total rakeback = eligible wager amount × theoretical house edge × Duel Mode rate

For example, with $1,000 of eligible wagers on a game with a 2% theoretical house edge:

  • Theoretical house edge amount: $20

  • Total rakeback at 50%: $10

The 50% applies to the theoretical house edge amount—not your entire wager or your actual losses.

How you receive it

Your total rakeback has two parts:

  • Instant rakeback: the portion earned through the instant rakeback system.

  • Level-up share: the portion held until you reach your next level.

These two portions add up to the total Duel Mode rate. The Duel Mode information panel shows your applicable split; the full 50% is not all paid instantly.

Duel Mode changes the rewards you earn from eligible play. It does not guarantee a profit or change the game’s odds.

What happens to rewards already earned?

Rewards you earned before switching remain yours, subject to their existing release dates, claim conditions and expiry rules.

Enabling Duel Mode does not make previously earned rewards immediately available.

Switching on or off

Open the Duel Mode control in Rewards, review the rate, payout split and changes, then confirm to enable it.

You can switch back to Standard Mode at any time. Paused rewards do not accumulate from play while Duel Mode is active.
